Thanks guys, I shot her at 10 yrds and she only went about 10 yrds. Had 4 others under me after the shot. I did all I could trying to move them towards Charles, but they just wouldn't leave.

Now I've moved to a different farm for the evening hunt. Looking to connect with Big barrel Darrel.
Last night from this stand I had 14 deer move through even Darrel's running buddy showed but he never did. Give it a go again...
 
I am back at one of Johns haunts. This time in some thick woods. Looks promising. It connects to land with no hunting.

Good luck guys, congrats John.... Lots going on this week, wasn't planning on huntin until the last week of October but shit happens and you got too roll with it lol.....

First doe is up and moving, guess it's time to stop playing with the phone. And I just heard some light sparring.
 
Be thankful you weren't in a walnut tree like I was this morning. Could have used a hard hat! Doh!:smiley_blackeye:

I was wrong about the acorns on my property. I could have used a hard as well. I'm sitting here at a soccer practice wishing I was in a stand. Naw, this is good too.
