This year was a true 8pt. Wide. Long main beams. Lacked time length to be a "monster." Even so, a 130-135" 8pt.

My other "big 8's" were actually 9pt Ric. Remove the drop tine on my 2016 buck and he 123. 131 with drop tine.


2014 grossed 156" (I think) but was also a 9. Netted 149" as an 8 though.


2008 was also a 9pt. Netted 139 as an 8. I think the only honest 8pt I shot was this last season.



I have a strange attraction to 9pt bucks. Lol. 2010 was a beautifully symmetrical 10pt but broke off a brow tine to be scored as 9. 2013 I broke out of the 9pt rut with the 14. 2014- 9pt. 2015 9pt. 2016 9pt. 2017 ??? I don't remember. He was the broken leg buck. He might have been an 8 but not a big boy. He was a blessing. Heck. They are all blessings!
