Looks good Jesse! Our beans are about ready to start picking. Zucchini, squash, summer squash, tomatoes and cucumbers have all showed great strides in the past week.

Jesse you really went all out. My redneck garden is looking good. Will post pics when I have time to breath/take pics.

Had time. Made the girls weed. May use straw next year.

Mortgage lifters:

Strawberry patch has produced 24 cups (that we got to before everything else).

Better Boys and replacement straight 8's (first batch died for some reason)

Alright, I also finally went out and just grabbed a couple of pics...

We have some of this growing...and a few cucumbers going.

Jalapeños seem to be moving along just fine.

And Chad's death wish is starting to produce some life!

The other plant isn't looking so well...but I have no idea why someone would need two of these plants.

dang, what a bunch of really nice gardens. what a difference three weeks makes. I took the "before" photos three weeks ago today. I'll be up to me ears in green beans in two weeks. fruit on everything in our garden now. we'll be eating cherry tomatoes and zucchini in a week or less. this may be the best looking garden we've ever had here in 15 years.

Strange. I had two Bonnie straight 8s die also but the picklers did fine.

biggest thing is we got it planted about two or three weeks earlier than usual. Nancy is trying out some new fertilizer, which may be making a difference, and timely rains. I have not watered one time yet. straw really helps hold in the moisture, but not very good at keeping weeds at bay. I've been a little more diligent tending to the plants, too. suckering the tomatoes and keeping them trained in their cages, pulling weeds, etc. the weather has been nearly ideal for growing since we planted.

I need to sucker mine. If anything just to keep down on blight issues.
