TOO Projects Thread

Never seen this idea before. Should be a cool project. By the time you are done your liver will not like you much. lmao

Awesome project Steve! Looking forward to seeing how it turns out. I've seen a few really cool designs with these big spools. One guy down the road even made a couple chairs out of them.

Lowes sells a good epoxy/glaze for jobs like this. It's really easy to use and hold up extremely well. I believe it the same stuff Hooters and other places use. I used it at my business on the counter to inlay all kinds of military relics. I also did a homework table for my kids with it. Takes a few buckets and a torch is about all.

I got a good start on the table today. Thanks to Mike I think I'm going to be able to achieve my goal of having no two matching caps on the top.

What you see in the bags is duplicates of what's on the table. All that is recessed is one of a kind, and almost half the top is done.

Got a long ways to go but it's on its way.

Lots of tinkering this weekend in TOOville! Great day for it. I'm building floating shelves in my daughter's room today. Framing is my strong suit. The finish work will piss me off. LOL

I am capable of better work, but I used a jig saw to make all the cuts and in light of that, they turned out great. Great way to learn that's for sure!
