Missed ya at Dave’s but family comes first
Well crap. Had a big post written out. Lost it.
Short version. Moisture around our back door. Disassembled. Rebuilt. Reinforced. Added some things to prevent it from happening again. House wrap and this seam tape I've never used. I hear good things about it. The crawl space access leaves a good bit to be desired. Roughly 10"x24". Had me wigged out for a minute. Backdoor is OSB tonight. Hope to finish tomorrow before weather hits us.
One of those daunting projects. I need to do siding, flooring, framing. . . .lots of variables in this one. In the middle of it my wife came home from work and asked if we could paint the door while it is off. Ummm. . . How about you let me fix this massive hole in the side of our house and put it back together? You could have painted that door anytime in the last 18 years it has been on there.
I love her but her timing was not ideal. I'm scrambling. Neck has been messed up. 90 degrees today. Hour 10 of a 12 hr day with no lunch break. Screw that paint.

Good work Phil, hope ya get her sealed up and can check that one off your list! Agree on the paint....their timing sometimes lol.
I wired a new outlet today with my father in laws supervision. I've never done it before but a good skill to have.

I very seldom shut the breaker off when playing around with simple wiring jobs .. Hey what better way to get an EKG..
But on a serious note... NEVER MESS WITH SOMETHING LIKE A MICROWAVE !!! When it stops working, throw it out... I hunted with a guy who was an electrician.. His microwave stopped working and it sat on his workbench for quite sometime.. One day he decided to look at it.. HES GROWING FLOWERS NOW...

Batteries on the golf cart were needing replacing this year so got looking around for replacing the 36 volt system which consisted of six 6 volt lead acid Batteries. Each battery weighs about 62 lbs. So dead load was roughly 372 lbs! Got searching online and found a company that makes 36 volt lithium batteries. Ended up ordering that battery plus the charging system and battery monitor plus mounting kit. This new battery only weighs about 40 lbs!! Spent most of yesterday and part of today hooking that new system up. Just from the weight savings alone the cart weighs about 325 lbs less! Added a new LED light bar to the front as well and rewired all existing lights.

New 3/4 inch floor installed in cart and new 36 volt 60 AH lithium battery..
36 v to 12v power converter installed to run all the lights along with battery monitor system and on board charger.
Got everything hooked up and charging. Can't wait to get this out and see how much faster it will be!

I have lithium batteries on my riding mower and on my ATV now. it is amazing how much lighter they are.
My brother owns a company not far from you and that is what he specializes in. High Power Batteries is the name. Major upgrade! 
I have a 2007 Honda Accord that I use as a beater to run around in. Headlights were horribly hazed over, couldn't see shit at night. Used a Sylvania restoration kit today to clean them up. I did one headlight on my Tundra a couple of years ago and it still looks great. I highly recommend this product.
A few buddies have upgraded their trolling motor batteries on their boats with the LiTime deep cycle batteries.
They’re very happy with the results. My batteries are a couple years old, but switch over to the lithiums as they fail.
