TOO Salt Fork Muzzy hunt - 1/4/25

Close your eyes, forget about this heat, and hope we get a repeat of last year - weather, food, and a fun hunt!

Site reservations are open. C7 & C8 are us already. There is power at the site, and a heated shower house right across the road. Very nice and comfortable facilities for the middle of winter.

Hopefully I have a target buck killed and can participate again, a good friend of mine has a cabin about half hour south

I have to back outta this one due to Ty's and Wyatt's winter sport schedules.

If you guys move forward with this, loop C is actually closed that weekend (renovations) and loop A is open. Our 2 sites were grandfathered in for that last weekend. The shower house is the same for anyone looking to camp.

I am also out. This will be the one and only time I'll miss a TOO function, but Kaydence is playing on a tournament team for basketball and I'm helping coach. We'll be in Logan for a tourney that weekend, so I'll pack the muzzy and go to Hocking Hills between games

And so the kids' sports priorities begin......... Man I feel for you guys on what you are going through. It is that time in their lives (and yours) though, this is the stuff that will make them great adults for years to come!

Me and My boys were going to come down and help do drives, we still on or is it off this year. We have to take off Saturday night we have a basketball game on Sunday.

I am retired and have a camper now so I was hoping this was going to happen this year.
I completely understand why you can’t make it, your kids have to take priority over hunting!!!
I have never been to salt fork I did check out the web site the other day and noticed C was closed and A was open.
if anyone wants to keep the tradition alive I am willing to try

I've been prepping, but Ty wanting to wrestle this year threw hunting out the window. Basketball games are Mon-Weds, wrestling meets are all day Sat. lol.

Keep this going, I'll be back next year if basketball comes back to life for all.
