Yesterday marked my most significant milestone to date. I landed on 190, which was my target weight. I'm down 50#s overall and 37.5 since February 22. I feel like a different human. Mentally and physically, I'm peaking as I enter what I consider to be our prime years as men/fathers/husbands. I'm now prepared for the road ahead and my meat wagon is in shape to carry me wherever the path my lead.

Finally squatted 500lbs today. It was relatively easy and I had 10 to 20 lbs in me. It has taken me about a year to get here so I'm pretty pumped.

Thanks guys. My body is kind of weird in that it handles heavy weight low reps better than light weight high reps. High reps make me extremely sore where low reps feel really good and don't beat me up as much.

And I've finally reached my destination of 40 pounds lost this year. I weighed in at 186.6 today, then managed my first ever 10K run in under 55 minutes. At my heaviest of 240, I never imagined seeing my weight be what it was as a freshman in college!

That's awesome man, I wished I could run a 10k. The weight loss is impressive man and to throw the 10k in, job well done

Thanks brother. Last time I saw you was when I got serious about this. My dad told me today he was impressed because it's the most committed I've ever been to something. Definition of back handed compliment. LOL

After checking elevations yesterday, I ain't scared. When I get back from the beach, I'm dedicating one day a week to a 5 mile walk with 50 pounds on my back. Train for real life.

Good. I'm fresh off a week off of activity, so I'm heeled and feeling good. I had no intention of running that far when I took off. The goal was simply to start moving and see what happened.

Weighed in at 185.0 today. That's my lowest weight since I finished my growth spurt around my 19th birthday. I'm down 55 pounds overall, 42.5 coming since February 22. Feeling great other than needing to buy a new wardrobe!
