TOO Weight Loss - Biggest Loser Edition

Haven’t jumped on the scale for a while. Catching up on this thread got my curiosity. Went and jumped on 169.8#.
pretty damned surprised to be honest. Thought I would have jumped back up some since I haven’t been monitoring lately. Guess this remodel is keeping me busy enough to keep some off. Need to get back to some exercise. Going to try and get down to 160 ish.

Body takes a little training. It's about inches at this point more than weight. Gotta make muscle gains to have fat loss.
Gonna nitpick, but that's not totally true. It can be true, but you can burn fat without gaining muscle - see me @ 240 versus 180. The 240 version of me came after I'd bulked up to the biggest I'd ever been muscle-wise. I lost all that muscle trimming down to the "runners" version of me. You initiate weight loss by achieving a caloric deficit, which weight training can help achieve. But you actually "BURN" fat by exhaling carbon dioxide. Roughly 85% of the fat you burn, exits the body through your lungs. This is why cardio can be so effective. Not only can it help with the caloric deficit, but the increased throughput of O2 to CO2 expediates the fat expulsion process. This is a big onion with lots of layers, but you can most certainly lose weight without building muscle.

Every time I have lost weight (on purpose) I have gained a little first.
