Well... How did your turkey season go?

I just now saw this thread. My season was filled with firsts. I called my 1st and 2nd ever birds in on my own, made my furthest shot on a bird, and finally took a bird (both actuaully) off of my go to property. I did however fail at getting my gf on a bird, and I couldn't talk dad into getting out. But all in all it was a memorable season for sure

I got pretty lucky..didn't hardly get to go because of k9 school. I sealed the deal on two longbeards the last week.

I guess i cant complain. My son got his first bird. And i was able to wack one. Just wish they would have gobbled. Hauted a fair amount and not once did we have a bird gobble of the roost. Hard to get fired up with ouiet birds.
