We're so close!

Had a chance to shoot again tonight. Been shooting regularly. I am stacking them at 20yds, have about a 3" group at 30yds, and 6-8" group at 40yds. Under 40yds has been my personal limit for the last two years. Outside of one doe at 36yds I don't think I have ever killed one over 24-26yds anyway. Confidence in my groups at 40+yds is simply for my own mental well being. I just need to shoot my broad heads and I am ready. Starting to get more excited. Might even go check cameras Friday in the rain simply because I need some "me" time. Been a hectic schedule lately and the weekend looks to be no different.
Down to single digits now guys! My request for opening day off was granted at work!

I'm bummed that I won't be doing any hunting this upcoming opening day weekend. Girls volleyball games in the morning and taking my mom to the Reds game in the evening on Saturday and work in the evening on Sunday. I might hunt in the morning on Sunday but doubt it. I guess I'll have to wait till the following Friday for my first hunt but I'm still excited for that first sit though....

I got my dad coming down. Hoping to give him a shot a punchin that buck tag early.
This weeks camera checks and the weather forecast will decide if im hitting it, and where he'll be. I'm hoping to get out an evening or two and doing some glassing towards the end of the week.

I'll be out at some point this weekend. Saturday evening will probably be the first. The boys are dialed in out to 30 yards with their bows and they will get first crack.

I will be out Saturday morning doe hunting for a relative who is begging for one. Saturday night I plan to buck hunt. Then Sunday I will be bow driving with my friends then sitting in the evening. Can't wait!
