Venison tenderloin grilled old school, mashed Yukon Golds, and creamed spinach. Real Northern food.

Last night’s unbelievable thick ribeye at the chicken house with baked Yukon golds.

Pics don’t do it justice but sharp cheddar bacon venison burgers for dinner. Cheese in the meat crisps up super nice in the bacon grease in the cast iron. F me.

Pork chops (each over a lb) smashed potatoes and salad.

Cooked last night for mine and my mom's it went down pretty easy.

My Cajun buddy was up at his camp, Gavin the one I invited to my place so his boy could kill. Anyway he cooked some wood ducks in a gravy w purple eyed peas. He also gave me a plate for lunch. Best ducks ever when he cooks them. Sorry I don’t have before pics.

One dish squirrel casserole with drop lard/buttermilk biscuits. I usually use equal parts of bacon grease and butter for the oil in this, but this time I used Wagyu beef tallow. A welcome improvement.

Throwing down on some cowboy steaks.

Made some back strap fajitas tonight. Second time trying it, definitely better than the first go around. Only took one pic sorry Sliced up a whole back strap into strips, patted them dry then covered in taco seasoning then put them in a ziploc for a few hours. Little vegetable oil on medium heat, just enough to crisp the outside but still remain super super tender. Voila dinner is served.
