What's For Dinner?

Couple pounds of those shrinp from Al-a-Bama. Roasted w salted butter, garlic, lemon zest ... lightly toasted sourdough to sop up the juice....

Had three "Sirloin Tip" venison ham roasts and a couple hearts from last years deer that needed gone. Smoked for couple hours then in the crockpot, juice and all, with some of my brisket seasoning.

We make mashed potatoes and put it and some of the juice right on top... more cold wx comfort gnashing..

Came off a 24 hour fast with a stick-to-your-ribs and warm-your-soul kind of "wing it" meal. Brown rice and black beans with boneless chicken thighs slow cooked in Jamaican Jerk sauce, and smoked sausage cooked in butter. Mix it all together to form a version of "dirty rice", then top with Sriracha and enjoy. Nose-running deliciousness, with plenty of leftovers to get me through the next several days.
