What's For Dinner?

so Nancy and I picked about 15lbs of Chantarelles today. was like a friggin' sauna in the woods. shade made it semi-tolerable. whenever I make Jasmine rice, as I did a few days ago to eat with some salmon, I make extry enough for a batch of fried rice. shrimp fried rice with fresh chants. weren't none too hateful. :)

I pilfered this from Jesse's post in the podcast thread. it's hard to imagine cocoa crusted venison loin being eclipsed by ANYTHING, but these mushrooms are to die for. I mean, I seriously have an addiction to them. if there is a higher power, it put deer and chanterelle mushrooms on this rock for us to eat together. I did not find that podcast very interesting, however. :rolleyes:
