I think we should vote on who has the prettiest pulpwood china... Giles or triple_duece?

this is one of my most favorite Sunday dinners. venison loin (sous vide), mashed Yukon Golds, Chanterelles sautéed in butter and bacon fat with some chives, and green bean casserole with home canned beans. the wine we chose tonight was a new Bordeaux that neither of us much cared for. had to fall back on my old pal Tito. he's always there for me. ;)

That fancy dish doesn’t change the taste of what’s on it! With a family of 5 and always extras, paper is the way to go. I’m sure once I get to your grumpy old status, glassware will be the easier route. Until then, I will enjoy the burnable Route.

We did chicken pot pie for lunch and taco salad just now. No pics as this dude was on fat kid detail!

FWIW we still use paper with just the 2 of us... 😂
