came home to a fine cooked meal. And tried to make it work....made a wrap. took 2 puffy waterlogged room temp boild hot dogs still sitting in the water on the stove. Added the resting velvet shell and cheese, a fews spoonfuls of leftover taco meat and more colbyjack with a splash of hot sauce. Nuked it. Not bad. Might cook an onion for the next one.

Oh boy this was delicious for late lunch today! Fried deer back strap in scratch gravy from drippings. We also made fresh apple crisp from a variety of baking apples that Shelby and her beau brought home from local fruit farm.

It at much, but it was quick, and it definitely hit the spot late last night when finishing up more cleanup around here, preparing for company. Russ will be here late today, gearing up for some deer archery hunts.

A couple of venison cheeseburgers with sweet-potato waffle fries, some taters and a pop cause I missed dinner earlier with the wife. The howling coyotes were all over the place during the whole time while having a lit-moon in the background.

Just another beautiful autumn evening!
