Early lunch. Buddy dropped off some muskrat stew yesterday for me. It's awesome! The guys that have had this would agree the ones that haven't might be saying wtf rat? Lol. Good stuff and local bars still have muskrat feeds in this area.
What is wrong with eating rats, lol? I can respect anyone who goes out of their way to eat rats. To hell with all those bones, though. Those boys need to learn how to cook 'em better!

Yeah the bones are hard to get away from. If you get it from the old timers they leave the heads on but not for the brains like squirrel. They do it for the tongue.

Caught a whole ribeye on sale for $6.99 lb. Cut us one thick ones and had them in the cast iron last night. Baked potato and fresh baked bread to go with. Very good!
boneless fried rabbit, rosemary cumin rice, green bean casserole, fresh baked bread. Have to give a shout out to Brock for giving me boneless rabbit meat four years ago and going a good job vacuum sealing the bag, which I discovered in freezer yesterday. Sous vide/seared rabbit meat is pretty good.
