Baby backs & buffalo chicken cones....
Baby backs and M&C for game and it turned out delicious.
Did them in oven cuz I pruned fruit trees today and didn’t feel like messing with sticks or pellets today. Lol

Here is one to try.... Bacon on a club cracker. Lightly dust yer favorite pork seasoning. Bake in oven until bacon is done. (No, the crackers do not get soggy). We were quite impressed!

Homemade pizza and grilled chicken over hickory.
Our aunt would bring something similar to Christmas get togethers every year and it would be gone within an hour after she arrived. She would just wrap bacon around club crackers and bake. No seasoning but it’s bacon and that’s all it took….

I never served but it could be related to the Cajun Navy??
Their recipe is what I use for my buffalo sauce on “woodland wings”. If I ever run out of skwerls, I will toss chicken wings in it instead. It is perfect.

So i took some of the fattiest looking bacon slices from the mangalitsa pig butchering. sliced into slivers and rendered in a glass pan, then added partially frozen seafood mix from trader Joe's (shrimp, scallops, calamari, etc) to cook in the oven.
Made some spaghetti noodles. Saved some pasta water.
Used my food processor with 2yolks, parmesean cheese and butter. Added that to the pasta and stirred to mix, added a little more water and cheese to make it creamier. Then folded in the cooked seafood and added a few tablespoons of the fat from the pan and all the bacon bits also.
Delicious carbarnara inspired dish, better with fresh cracked pepper imo

Homemade deep dish: homemade dough, peppers, and pepperoni. The rest unfortunately came from the store. A touch of spicy with the Jalapeño. 
If anyone was wondering, Longhorn steakhouse is charging $6 for a bottle or coors light now... Nothing special, just a regular 12 Oz beer. You can buy a 12 pack at the gas station for around $12 and drink them in the parking lot while you wait. Probably be the last time they get my money. That is robbery. I can't support that. I don't mind a little markup but WTF. No wonder money doesn't go very far these days.

A few eats from the weekend. Wings, crablegs, colorful eggs, and fresh mozzarella. I love making the mozzarella because I get tocl keep the cream! 4 gallons of our milk made a little over 2 lbs of cheese and a solid gallon of heavy cream for butter.
Parmesan crusted tilapia, vegetable spring rolls with ginger sweet sauce and honey and salad and Barefoot Buttery Chardonnay.
