At Rural King getting water. Guy asks if I been hunting? I said "For other peoples deer, that water is for my truck"

Got a call last night. Repeat farm, different hunter. (Their Friends)
We decided to wait until this morning. He agreed to not go back in there. Said "I have 8 mounts on the wall and this is gonna be the best one yet" "He's big!"

At about 300 yds we found arrow w/fat on it. 80 yd later the blood started turning extremely watery. Shortly thereafter Maxx didn't want to do anything with it.... its alive.
Second track today was after a drone.
Deer was shoulder hit and gonna live.
Landowner came out and gave my hunter's hell for having a drone buzzing his house and family gathering... So after the landowner left, I gave both hunters a business card and said just in case you need me...

Just got a call to go to Chesapeake Ohio.
"Milo Hansen" size buck hit in the liver.
Also offered to do a youtube video of Maxx working for advertising
I turned it down... 3 hrs 10 min one way.
And the money offer was slim for that far.

The younguns I tell this: Lungs are close to football size. Heart is softball size but 2/3 is covered by a rounded/deflective leg. If they can't breath, they can't run!
So get away from the leg!
Todays track was shoulder hit. 200 yds from last blood, Maxx showed us more. Soon as we came to a powerline, Maxx lost interest in the same spot 3 times.
So the track after the drone was a bust. He back on camera again in 30 hrs after the shot....

I hope these people are at least covering your fuel, dog food, and time. I know you're just working on tips, but some of these are really running you around. Got to be frustrating. It would be for me anyway.
Tonights track was a trip! Its at my Ex's family farm. (Her son Brandon). Almost there and I see a buck coming out of a small corn field. High/tight rack and nice looking deer. Once on the trail, deer took us up a low spot in the field about 600 yds in a C shape. Shoulder shot and Maxx was loosing interest at the end. I mentioned the deer and said that field is right there that I seen the deer come out of earlier. I laughed and said tell me your deer was high and tight? He said yes and produced a pic of the deer I believe I saw.... SMH.... but its well alive.
