Thanks Seth, but unfortunately most of our deer aren't shed yet. Being as ate up with hunting sheds as we are, we still feel compelled TOO look anyway! Lmao. Call us gluttons for punishment. Lol.

What is your location? I think most of ours have shed here in jackson co..60-80% at least by the number of sheds ive been finding fresh.

I can relate to this. I don't think I am near as ate up as you, Ric, or Seth, but I sure keep finding myself out looking despite seeing numerous bucks still carrying lately. I am not on the board yet. Hoping to tie my record of 7 in a season or hopefully beat the record. Pales in comparison to you guys, but a guy has to start somewhere.

I wouldn't call it luck with these guys, it is pure dedication and hard ass work! A wise man once told me " the harder I work the luckier I get"

If thats not the truth. I know I wouldnt kill anything or find anything just sitting on the couch thinking about it.
My buck I killed this past year is a prime example. The end of october, hurricane sandy-sleet snow rain wind. I decided to go get in an old barn for an evening hunt, I got to the barn and stood outside the door for 30 seconds thinking to myself "this isnt that bad of weather, I should be in the stand". I went to the stand and killed my buck. Dedication and putting yourself through a little pain can lead to success. Same goes for shed hunting, if you see a patch of thick honeysuckle 60 yards up the hill, better fight through the pain after already walking for miles and go check it out. You will live to regret it if not.
