I love pre smoking. It's a great reason to sit in the garage, drink beer, and get mentally prepared for the next mornings hunt.

Then I re-smoke when I get to my parking spot before heading to my stand. Just to be safe.

Before ya know it, every campfire will remind you of deer season.

Already does!

Got mine yesterday!! I ordered it Thursday night.. That's was some fast shipping! I will be setting up my extra blind and smoking everything up tomorrow. I would do it today but it's raining right now and I don't have any chips..

Here is another video. This deer was downwind for over 2 minutes. At the 1:15 mark, he is nearly eye-level completely downwind at 21 steps. Wind is blowing straight through one window, hitting me in the back and blowing out the window I'm filming through. He never had a clue he could have died at any second!

Fellas, some of you may have forgotten by now, but deer are not supposed to act that way when they are standing down wind! Cool videos from both of you!

I love the smell.
I love the ritual.
I love the confidence I feel when I'm good and smoked.
I love the deer not smellin' me.

I love how the wife wrinkles her nose when I get home and says "Ugh, You stink!" :smiley_crocodile:

Yeah, that's the second to the last part of the ritual....grabbing her and making her smell me when I get home.
The last part of the ritual is grabbing her again after I get out of the shower, the before/after thing.

Scent Smoker. Get your ritual on.....

Scent Smoker. Helps you score in the field and after....

With the colder weather approaching I have a small question. Do you guys smoke every layer you put on or just your outside layer?

More or less, yes. If I'm standing there in pants and my UA base top like I usually am, I smoke them while they are on my body. I also make it a point to smoke up my junk real good, as well as my underarms....

Got your message, been an eventful evening as you saw!

I smoke EVERYTHING. Anything that goes in the field with me is in my Rubermaid closet and it all gets smoked in there prior to a hunt. Then I smoke up when I get to my spot. IMO, you can't be TOO careful or use TOO much smoke.

I've been known to set that sucker on a brick in the back of the jeep and let the smoke roll as I'm driving to my spot. look like a clip out of a friggin cheech and chong movie.

The remains of a fine smoking.

Gonna hit the stand tomorrow right after work. I'm finally getting the hang of my smoker. I was just trying to light TOO many chips. I cut back on the chips to light and added a few more for smoke and I had it cooking in just a couple minutes tonight.

A little gasoline gets the fire rolling real easy!

******disclaimer: that was a joke. Don't use gasoline to start fire in smoker*******
