I'm climbing down. Rain is rolling in and winds are 20+. Wasn't prepared for that. I'll finish the night in the blind down in the holler below me.

I got poured on this morning for 2 hours before calling it quits. Wife had a baby shower to go to this afternoon so I am home with the kiddos.

Debating. On morning or evening tomorrow.

Whelp, we've been set up since 5 and didn't blow anything out on our way in. It's pretty windy here TOO. Prolly 20-25 blustery gusts from 3 different directions. Oh well, sitting here till dark on the bank over looking a travel corridor.

Good luck and hang on!

Had good action this morning. Bucks are starting to chase a little more. Had a 9, 7, 6 and spike come through. Several doe as well.

Id shoot him but mountaineer would judge me haha

lmao

Seen several does on the back way home, only one buck. Time for some pizza and football. I'm popped after today's duck hunt. Part of why I climbed down. Had trouble staying awake! Ready to hit it hard tomorrow. Very confident in my spot for the morning.

I called it quits a little before 5:00. After getting rained on for a third time I was shivering so bad I wouldn't have been able to aim anyway. There Will be better days.

Spent nine and a half hours in the woods and didn't see a thing. Did some mid day scouting and did find some fresh scrapes though. Wish the weather would stay nice so this corn could get cut!!!
