Sorry for the late update....after missing the doe this morning he decided to sit awhile longer and see what happens...well, what happened was, a little 6 pt came out of no where and then with in 10 yds of our ground blind, i beleive he was sniffing around for the does that came through earlier...he went to our left to get a drink but never made it to the pond....BANG!....we have a dead deer folks! This kid totally redeemed himself...will get pic posted a little later....he is pumped about his first deer! And so i am!

Congrats! That's so exciting and like the others have said its a memory that'll never fade. Can't wait to see the pics!

Got my new electric service done. Heading to the stand now, the combine is running the corn in the field to the north of my set. I have been waiting for this to happen and I can't believe that I am going to be in the stand while they are doing it.

What a memory this will be. This young man missed at 10yds last year, 30yds this morning and then he buckled down, settled down and put the hammer down on his 2nd chance this morning. I couldn't be more proud of the young man.

Already seen two doe and don't even have my release on yet.

Here's my east, south, west view.

Here is to the north. This is what is separating me from the corn that's being picked.
