I did not get to hunt the last gun weekend.
I wanted to wait for Muzzy season anyway. Now just have to decide whether to use the Hawkin or Black Diamond M/L.
:smiley_coolpeace:
I hate to buy another tag, but I also hate sitting around the house.

Anyone else planning for the M/L season?

Yes sir! Going to add two cameras to the mix and get a good pattern on some deer. I'm hosting Ernie, Matt and Tucky that weekend. So it's does for Matt, and mature bucks/does for Ernie, Tucky, and Tracie. I'll be bowhunting with Ernie Friday as well. I see some drives in our future just for good measure!!!

I have pretty well decided that I'll be carrying one of my traditional MLs. The Encore has accounted for 3 deer already this year. I really don't need another deer so I might even be carrying a rocklock (I Santa gets it down the chimney).

Need to get some blood on the new Omega! Friggin' scope mounts are ridiculous for those! I need to get my scope mounted and dialed in and about crapped myself.

ML cleaning tip. I use a portable steamer for the barrel along with a cleaner. The barrel gets very hot and drys very fast. A few patches and a little oil and it is ready for storage and ready for next year.
