Just a heads up fellas... I was at the camp location scoping things out. I'm gonna head up a few days before and make sure all the grass is mowed and stuff. However, as I said before, there's not many trees around. I don't think we will need canopies all strung together like usual because the shelter area is huge and will provide plenty of cover in case of rain. So, if you have a canopy, I'd be prepared to put it over your tent area to provide some shade in your personal space. Otherwise, you may bake

After recent events here at home I'm back to a good possibility but not a definite. As things here progress and the closer it gets the better I can answer one way or the other.

Not sure on that one... There's a small pond surrounded by high weeds and cat tails very close. Id say skeeters may be an issue. Bring the thermacells

I am not coming unless you get rid of the skeeters Cotty. I mean, c'mon, this is supposed to be like staying at the Hilton isn't it?:smiley_crocodile:

The prices I am paying right now...

Ribs - $3.29 a pound
Brisket - $3.79 @ pound (Prime)
Pork butt - $1.69
Yard bird - cheap as hell
Sausages -$3 a pound. I have spinach and feta, red pepper and garlic, italian, spicy italian, kielbasa, and brats.

If I can find a good one you might get pork belly. Imagine all the bacon on a pig, uncut and smoked like pulled pork with the cracklin left on. Mmmm, mmm.

I don't see Charles cooking anything that is not excellent. The pork butt was fabulous....but if I had to pick only one, the brisket was to die for!

Skeetters?

LOL...what kind of question is that Mike?!? The only thing I have found to keep skeeters at bay in Ohio during the summer is a good strong breeze/wind. If not, I'm packing spray and/or a thermacell. I hate those little blood sucking bastards!

Cotty, what is it looking like for cost per person based on who we have signed up so far?

Just a reminder, it is $250 for the group to use the campsite for the whole weekend. That includes use of everything. The only extra charge is $3 a head for the 3d range. They charge that just so they can keep the kitty full when it comes time to replace targets.

I'm not sure how many guys are coming for sure so I'm not sure what to divide the $250 up into.

Also, there are 30 targets on the 3d range. I'd say 28 targets are in the hardwoods.

The clubhouse, bar, clay range, and 3d entrance are all in one location. Feel free to bring some cash for the bar for a few beers in between the action ;)
