Man when it rains it pours...............Laura was cooking at home, top burner on and then turned on the oven. After a few minutes she smelled gas and the oven was cold. She called me, told her TOO turn the burner off, open the windows, long story short we needed a new starter in the oven, $179.00. So next I get TOO another Rig and heard grinding on my breaks. Found a local shop and had both front and back breaks done, $440.00. Not what I needed right now. Truck is a 2012 and has 58,900 miles but with the roads I drive going TOO the rig that are curvy, up and down so I am not surprised but it still sucks TOO have TOO come up with that cash. Don't need it right now. Fuggggggg.

Jeff, I know it sucks, buts that's part of having the oversized tires. I put a drilled and slotted set on 4 years ago and 68,000 miles ago...they just started making noise yesterday. Money well spent IMO! I drag a good bit of trailers around TOO. I also had this same exact set on my old truck for a couple of years before I swapped them onto this truck. Power Stop was the company.

Ben, hope the pain subdues for you man.

Im waiting to get my truck back. Its been in the shop for a week. Damn pcv hose and pcv needed replace. Then bought a new battery because the guy from auto zone said the old aint charged fully so i figured fugg it just put in a new battery. After rhe battery was replace i headed home and engine light came one. I went back to autozone the next guy said its the alternator, wtf, if i had know it wasnt the battery i wouldnt have bought the battery daggum. So waiting at the red light with fuggin truck sounding like shit because of pcv valve and hose making that noise and truck rocking back and fourth has gotten people looking at me like wtf like im getting laid with a girl or something so i would wave at them like keep ya'll eyes on the road. Smh, lol. Truck is gonna cost me roughly $1000.00
Because the manifolds has to be replace and whole exhaust TOO

Well at least it's new stuff on the front and pads on the back...
GM's brakes never impressed me on their trucks... They went 4 wheel disc for a while and the went back to the drums and it got better...
If towing I'd go cross drilled and ceramic pads as they seem to dissipating heat quicker and less warping over the years of use...

Just talked to my dad and my little cousin went to rehab for heroin today. Little bastard was a like a younger brother to me. He best friend died of an OD not long ago after he got out of rehab and went straight to his dealer. Little fuck has a baby girl at home too. I'd strangle him right now if I could. Always thought he was smart enough to know better.
Damn man, sorry to hear:(

After a few days of intense stretching and heat therapy I awoke 50% better this morning. The involuntary muscle contractions have stopped. Now I'm basically sore in those 3 spots. I've decided to take try to take it easy this weekend despite some manual labor in front of me. I'll just keep stretching, heat therapy, and ice. Never thought I'd say it but it sucks getting old.

I would stay away from ceramic pads. Ceramic is way too hard. They will last forever but they generate TOO much heat. This will cause the rotors to warp unless you are running cross and drilled rotors which cool much better. I run stock replacement rotors and the cheapest pads. I may go through pads quicker but the rotors last. Truck has over 130,000 miles and I am on my second set of rotors. 4th set of pads. Pads only run 19.99 an axle alot cheaper in the long run.
