Great find Ric.. I hope you bought a lottery ticket first thing this morning, cause lady luck was definitely smiling down on you.. Lets see, you could've played the time you found them, the date, any number of things.. Definitely one in a million shot... Dont expect it to happen again... Maybe someone bumped that deer with their car just before you got there and the bump was just enough to knock his loose horns off, and he ran off unhurt... At any rate definitely got yourself a story to tell down the road...

Lol, he said "down the road"! [emoji23]

Lmao Rich sure has a way with words....:smiley_clap:

Btw, Ron picked up a very fresh set tonight making them his numbers 6 and 7. They were found next to a fence where they popped off after he jumped it.

Karissa and my shed season has officially started today. Did some serious walking today. I walked for 2.5 hours this morning then we both walked another 2.5 this evening. Must still be early as we found no sheds but Karissa found her second DH on her first shed hunt of the year.

The deer appeared to have died right after peeling most of its velvet. Still has some on the rack in spots and the beading and tine points are sharp and haven't been rubbed on. This makes the second buck we've found in 3 years that died that early. Prolly EHD or some disease.

Nice work Ron and Karissa! Sucks to find deadheads when you guys haven't been seeing many deer.
