I squatted 550. I missed 579 barely. I got it up and got off balance and took a step backwards

I ended up taking second with a 1482 pound total. I definitely didn't hit the numbers that I wanted.

Hey, if you tried your best, and left everything on the floor, hold your head and be proud of the second place...

I did. It was a weird one. For some reason I just couldn't hold water and felt depleted for my bench. I got some salt tabs from a buddy and that helped for my deadlift but still didn't feel 100%. On to the next thing now. My goal is to drop 30l s and get back to around 240.

Good work Rick!

I've been under the weather again with a nasty cold that's in my chest, so I'm approaching a week with no exercise. With starting the new job on Monday, I also have an entirely new routine and will need to find the right time to workout. But, I've lost weight because of the routine making it easier to get plenty of water, proper foods and I stroll around campus a good bit, getting my steps in every day before I leave. Once I get the exercise component figured out, I'll likely get under 200#s pretty quick.

Getting up there Rick...you're going to be an official bike rider before TOO long.

Nice work environment you have there Jesse. When it gets warmer I'm guessing the scenery will look a little better as the parka's fall off and the short- shorts come out.

Good work Rick! Been a long Winter of sitting around and eating like crap and i'm feeling it now that mowing season is kicking off (when it isn't snowing). Been getting the diet straightened around this week with plans to drop 15-20lbs before vacation in late June.

I hear ya! I'm on day 13 of the head and chest congestion. I've been forcing myself to get the workouts in any how. It sure is not easy.
