I had been busy painting front porch and back porch. Scraping off white paint that was already peeling off, sanded it down, then painted it white. Front porch isn't done yet. I'm planning on taking the railings off, and spray paint it white. I plan on ripping the blue carpet off, then rent a sander to take the glue off, and then paint it dark navy. Also, I got rid of the light fixtures. It was old and rusty. So, i put in a new ones. Here are the before and after pictures.

Looking good BC! Little sweat equity goes a long way on the curb appeal.
I didn't take any pics, but I logged 4 hours on the power washer of the weekend. We now have the front porch area and the back patio cleaned up. Taking it a section at a time so I don't get burnt out. The front yard looks pretty solid. Once we replace the front door, get new shutters and a new roof, we'll pretty much have the curb appeal aspect whipped into shape.

Yeah, the back porch I have the screen door apart. I'm planning on putting in a dog door on the screen door. Got tired of leaving door open because the bugs are getting in. So this will be good for moonshine. That way he can just get in and get out whenever he wants. God does that lathe board room remind me of all the work I've done on our house. Whole upstairs and full living room down to the studs and all that crap hauled out. What a mess but was worth it to raise the family in a well insulated house.
It is super messy lol I told my wife that when the Her brother and I was done taking it down it looked like we just got done cutting coke [emoji23][emoji23]. I promised my wife that I’d drywall everything when we bought the house. It’s a lot of work but I know it’s worth it in the end.

Headed to the Stihl dealer. This saw will be sale by the day's end most likely. I'm not pleased with how it leaks oil, nor how it runs hot. I think it's underpowered for it's size and I've just never been sold on it. I should have bought a Stihl to start with. If I do pull the trigger on a new saw today, I'll make a TOOzer a deal on this one.
