Testing reporting was wildly inconsistent.

That being said, the current Rice a Rona, Omicron is by and large a nasty cold, but almost at chicken pox for contagiousness. Thus it truly is a not if but when scenario right now. Shots and prior COVID strain immunity, as well as masking and distancing are ineffective. Peak should be late January and peak hospitalization by Valentines Day here in the states. Europe is ahead of us and may be peaking now. Omicron is a 5 day +/- in nature verses 14+ for Delta.

Just like they do for the flu. I am getting really tired about hearing about positive cases. It's becoming so numbing that I have started to ignore what I hear about how cases have spike. Just think what it be like if there was a positive test for the flu. How many people get the flu and recover at home? Thousands each year!! But we don't have the media reporting that every single night.

While my earlier posts may have bothered some about the vaccine, I am being to believe that this virus is going to be here for the long haul just like the flu and similar to the flu you can get a flu shot in the fall before the spread of flu. I didn't get a flu shot until about 10 years ago and have gotten one every year since. Last year, I got the shingles shots and both times I left like crap for a day. Wife got the same shot and was fine. The shot either for the covid or the flu should an optional choice for each person. While either doesn't 100% protect from getting the sickness, it may reduce your symptoms. Side effects, well I had side effects from the shingles shot and recovered.

I am so tired of hearing about testing. There's no test for the flu and we don't self test for the flu but we use our smarts and if we feel like crap we stay home from work and school. I am ready to get on with life before this started. We got ways to prevent severe cases and remedies to help us recover. Time to move on and stop making this a media news story.

Test numbers have always been garbage numbers, the more you test the more you find. Hospitalizations were pretty much the only number that we could use that most believed were somewhat accurate. They called this number "Covid hospitalizations" Unfortunatly come to find out these hospitals have been reporting cases of people who were admitted for other reasons but were tested as part of the admission process and found to have covid, or people who tested positive but since they had another health issue were admitted for "observation" it is estimated by a Va and Harvard study that 40% of the reported hospitalization numbers are patients who were not admitted due to covid but rather had covid, or contracted covid in the hospital. Hospitals are getting paid for every positive admittance, if I was a hospital why would I ever have an empty bed.

Interesting observation. Watching the Monster Energy Supercross live in Anaheim, CA. Stadium is packed. They pan the crowd and I see one masked person. I thought California was militant about vaccines and masks? Again, just an interesting observation.

I don't see a ton of masks at concerts, football games, or other racing events either. Was just a bit surprised they allowed such a packed stadium IN California. It's a good thing. Personal choice and all that is.

What you perhaps are missing is that the liberals of our society want YOU...no DEMAND YOU vax and mask up, while giving up your guns and paying reparations to those who have had affirmative action benefits for 70 years. For them it is enough that they hold YOU to that standard they are thus exempt. This is why I now identify as a dreamer black female lesbian disabled war veteran who is hiv positive and fully vaxxed!
