7qts with a lite syrup and 7qts with a honey syrup from my buddies local hive.
Picked another batch of almost ripe maters just so the dang coons don’t eat ‘em first tonight. They’ll ripen up just fine here in the kitchen in about a week.

Cool. Firewood too. Take the flag and you win.
@MoonLab you should be practicing for bow season. I hear squirrels are good targets.
Our daughter asked about the garden today. She is at an internship in western NY. Hasn't seen ours this year but saw a local garden some people kept referring to as a "big garden." I sent her pics. Ours is 3x the size of the other garden and I wouldn't call it a large garden by any stretch. Here are the latest pics.

That area used to mounds. That didn't work. Just more area for weeds. Same amount of plants. Putting in the cedar was a game changer. Greatly reduced weed quantities. We weren't so overwhelmed with weeding. Those raised beds sure make things look nice and tidy Phil. Good stuff!
Dang, missed 'em.Here's the recipe for the horseradish pickles i had at the summer gathering. I normally add a lot more horseradish than it calls for, and haven't found the right amount yet.
