2019 Rut Report. What County? Conditions?

Wasnt able to hunt today wich sucked. Worked outside in the coldest day with the cold snap last night knew it would kick it in...my brother hit our sunbury area where havnt seen much rut activity as of mid last week. Said that changed as of today, had couple smaller ones moving thru the area all afternoon and eve. With a shooter that came in and hes was going to take it when it turned and didnt give him a chance. But first shooter to be seen cruising in daylight. Cant hunt till tues and it SUCKS. But its starting in delaware county.

Saw the first doe that was in heat or not far from standing for a buck that was locked on her. After they moved off a field I saw a small buck nose to the ground following their exact path about 15mins after they'd been through the wide open bean stubble in nw oh.

Took a drive before church just now saw a definant locked down situation with a big big buck standing over a doe laying down in the wide open field with a two year old and yearling buck standing 100 yards looking to get lucky nwoh.

The one I got in Stark Co. this morning was cruising at 100mph. Two nights ago a basket rack bedded in a field where several trails intersect for 45 mins. Then a mature doe came his way with her back to the wind and once she got 20 yards from him she did a 180.

I had no rut action over the weekend in Tuscarwaras County/Coshocton county line. Does and bucks acting as normal as can be

Put 16 hours in the stand this weekend in Athens and didn't see much. There was plenty of movement, a few ground scrapes but that's about all I witnessed.

Saw a buck bust across the highway after work with what looked like a bale of corn stalks on his head. It was hard to see its antlers. Full out grey hound sprint on a mission. Then shot a buck trailing a doe before dark. It's on here.

My place in Washington county has been slow rut wise. I’ve seen one young buck chasing. All other does have been buckless. No bucks cruising or bird dogging. Have heard some grunting. Deer movement and cam pics have slowed a lot in the past couple days. I saw 19 deer Saturday morning but only 11 since.

I believe it’s starting to ramp up...after shooting a buck last night, I swapped my sd cards on my camera while retrieving the buck this morning...this guy came in three different times between 2:00 and 4:30am checking on the does. I’ve never had a picture of this buck before.

Is that the same deer in bottom left of 4th pic, just poking his head up like a cartoon or something 😂😂😂
