The cabins at the campground are only 40/night and sleep four. Ten bucks is a pretty good deal in anyone's world.

That's what I thought.... And the last three tent experiances it has rained the whole time and sucks when evrything gets wet.... So I'm in for a cabin if there's any open.....

I was doing some maintenance work at the Strouds Campground this afternoon and snapped off a few picks of a camper cabin with my phone.
All the basic necessities…warm, dry, solar powered lights and a place to lay your head. Sleep 4 comfortably and maybe a cot or 2 in between if needed.
I routinely see deer in and around the campground.
Well, Looks like we won't even need to hit the woods. Just pop open the front door...whaala hunting blind lmao.

I hate to build up any unrealistic expectations, but since I know you guys are just coming here to see deer, what the heck.
I had lots of reconnaissance on this buck within a driver - wedge of where you'll be staying
during the preseason / early season last year. I lost track of him in November but that doesn’t mean he’s not still with us.
Both of these guys made it through February and will most likely be somewhere in or near the park next fall barring an EHD out break this summer.
Also, I've secured permission for 2 hunters in our group to hunt a piece of private ground within a few miles of the camp that is absolutely loaded with deer and the land owner wants them gone. They’ll also be a special guest stop by the evening of Saturday the 20th to a have beverage or 2 with us around the campfire...bring plenty of arrows!

I am looking forward to making this trip to come down and hunt some new ground. I think this is going to be a great weekend.
I have no doubt there will be more than a few good bucks seen during this weekend, especially with this many guys out in the woods. Nice pics... What kind of trail cam are those pics from, Mike?
