There's a reason kids hate most Vegetables...they aren't brain washed that they are good for you.
We'll. They aren't bad for you. Just can aggravate some inflammatory conditions depending how you process them. Most of them provide greater benefits in other areas.

Benefits? You can never eat another one and live your life just fine. You need meat and water, that is what your body benefits on.

But,....... you do not need them. Neither Kristi nor I have had a vegetable in over a year.

The mention of eliminating vegetables from your diets, do you guys have constipation problems eating nothing but meats?? I absolutely suck at drinking water in the amounts I am supposed to. Coffee in the AM then transition over to water through lunch but I find myself never drinking enough.

I think this has more to do with your gut microbiome being healthier from eating zero processed garbage, no sugar, and hydration than anything else. I'm not going to stop eating vegetables as there are too many nutrients to be had from eating good veggies, very few drawbacks, I just like them and have zero desire to take supplements to make up for not eating vegetables. Speaking of supplements, my mission to stop taking pills of every sort seems to be moving along. Been off of Amlodipine (which is a calcium channel blocker and relaxes blood vessels) for a week now. Just a few minutes ago I took my blood pressure after sitting quietly and relaxing for about 5 minutes. 109/68, 106/69, 112/68, 104/63. If this trend continues, I'll be off the Lisinopril, too.

I didn’t eliminate broccoli or green beans, just because I like them. But I certainly consume far fewer than I used to. My wife made the mistake of making herself Brussels sprouts the other day. Wrecked her stomach for a couple days. It’s hard to imagine that vegetables are not all good for you, but when you eat very few of them and then introduce certain ones back in you certainly feel the difference and quickly find out what ones to avoid.

Some random thoughts…
1. Sardine in olive oil suck. But the ones in mustard sauce are pretty good.
2. I love a good pork rind.
3. Mineral salt and grass fed butter added to my morning coffee makes is so damn tasty.
4. I love the simplicity of eating clean. My meals take less time to prep and I think it’s actually cheaper overall.
5. Too many cashews eventually make me itch in unpleasant areas.
6. I seem to have stalled at 180-182 pounds. But the difference is noticeable in my face and waist. I’ve dropped to the next notch in my belt, which is a big mental victory.

Very thankful to you guys who opened up this topic originally. I feel as good or better than I have in the last 5 years right now.

Also, I am proud of you guys that have made changes. I know people that haven't posted that have taken small changes too. It isn't easy to start, lol.
Just need a little motivation, don’t get much smaller then that…… 😳

I agree on the simplicity. Very easy. On the flip side it takes more planning. If you're out and about there's no quick options.
