Geesh. Ron and Ric make me feel inadequate in the shed department. JD makes me feel inadequate in the snow department. I don't know why, but for some reason I am feeling a little extra inadequate tonight. lmao

Hey guys, I just put a tape on that shed I found tonight. 68.5"! I was flabbergasted when I saw it in that field. I apparently ran over it at some point earlier this winter. I have been in that field a couple of times, when the snow was on. Just seeing where the deer was spending the most time. That's prolly when, because that G4-7" was buried clear to the main beam in the ground. I have a bad habit at looking from side to side, instead of I front of me. Regardless, I am sure glad that my eyes saw it this time. Lol. I hope you guys have the same luck that I've had. Good luck TOO all.

You guys are rocking! I don't anticipate catching up in terms of quantity. I am definitely hoping to find just a couple of the good ones I had on camera though.

I have a bad habit of doing that as well. One time I almost ran over one of my biggest sheds ever from only looking side to side. Slammed on the brake and couldn't believe it. Ended up being a hundred incher...lol

Feel bad for you guys running over sheds, not having to walk and all. Most be horrible!!:smiley_depressive:

Rotflmao. But Seth, I'd be doing it TOO if I were allowed. Saves time bigtime, covers a ton of more area, and saves your legs before going to work. All the farmers down here insist that there is to be no quads. Which is cool by me but much of their fields, like the middle of several 80-100 acre picked cornfields I haven't looked in yet and prolly won't. Just to much walking to find a toothpick.... Lol

Now if I knew a shed was in fact in the middle of one of these fields I'd hike it but not if its by chance. Lmao. What I've been doing is hitting the perimeters from 80-100 yards out and in some bedding areas, fingers, tree lines, fence lines and creek crossings. I haven't rode anywhere and have gotten some great exercise in the process. Just need for antlers to start dropping though.

Well Seth, I really love walking and she'd hunting the old fashion way, but this early I hit fields mainly. I cover so much ground fast and it's quite productive. I would be crazy not to use my Rhino. Now in a couple more weeks, I will cover my favorite shed places on foot.

Haha just giving you a hard time. I would be lying to say I am not a tad bit jealous!

My Bro knows where I hunt, and I am very fortunate to be able to do what I do, because where it is. It may not always be that way and I am taking advantage of it. Who knows, it may all be gone tomorrow. For now, I will say that Iam one lucky shed hunter. Lol. Good luck to you.

I have not hit many of the bedding areas yet. I am still seeing bucks carrying headgear. Until I see they are dropping, I will scout on the quad or in my Jeep. I don't want to push them off the property and I don't want to waste time if they aren't dropping. I have to believe they are starting to drop by now though. Maybe not all, but some of them have got to be. Once I am healed up I will start hitting it hard. Right now I don't plan on riding any quads or doing any walking unless it is to the bathroom.
