.

FINALLy got Big Momma. Got the young weeks ago and she changed her schedule on me. If she saw me 300 yards out she would make a dash for her hole.. Last night i beat her into the bean field.. I've been checking on this hog every day for over a week.. The shot hit a corn stalk about 150 yards out in the no till beans. I just kind of hung my head and thought about how the beans will be too tall soon and I might have blown the last chance.

As i was sitting there in the prone wallowing in my defeat i noticed a small brown patch in the weeds that wasn't there in all the hours i've stared at this fence line... I put the scope on it and sure as hell it was Big momma standing up peeking out with only her head visible..

214 yards..... Breathe, Aim, Squeeze...................POW! I watched her drop down in the scope, the thud of the round told me it was a solid hit...

Here is one I shot yesteday. He was laying in the hay field facing towards me and wouldn't stand so i took the shot and hit a tad low and just opened it right up.

I was just sitting here actually uploading pics and i looked out the window and there is one in the yard! The SKS is the only gun i had loaded in here besides pistols so i grabbed it and lit the little fugger up..haha

Put me on the board. Pictures later. Finally got one today. Hadn't had any time to get out, but have been carrying the Savage 17HMR with me the last couple weeks. This one is for JD! 95 paces with a truck mirror for a rest. Had to shut the truck off since the scope was vibrating too much on the mirror with the door open.

I've been throwing these all in the same place my coyotes are loving me right now, but they dont know that they are next on the hit list ;)

1 for 2 tonight, smoked one at about 85 yards then missed one at 50.... :smiley_blackeye:.... no pics tonight, shot it on the other side of a ditch.

Did you seriously dig up a thread that's over a year old just to make another comment about us shooting varmints? It's getting a little old. We get it you don't agree with us shooting coyotes and groundhogs. What you need to get is we don't give a damn.

x2

If you don't want to shoot them then that's fine but stop the bitchin about it. Ignor the thread and move on.

Oh and while we are at it. Dante and myself have knocked 4 of the little fuggers out. That's 4 less hogs and 4 more fertilizer for the hay field.
