Groundhogs

I really laughed at this one. He did a full somersault at impact. 308 will make'em do funny things...

Then what you do is leave the bodies behind TOO shoot some yotes. Live, well, dead bait. ;)

Did you seriously dig up a thread that's over a year old just to make another comment about us shooting varmints? It's getting a little old. We get it you don't agree with us shooting coyotes and groundhogs. What you need to get is we don't give a damn.

Now I see why you guys were alittle leary about my comment on the snairing yesterday until I explained myself.
I have shot 10,000's of prarie dogs in the past 15 yrs and I am here to tell you there is no shortage. The ranchers ot West need help. Either shoot them or poision everything.
Frank

Frank, some people are like ground hogs.... a little nuisance and they pop up every once in a while just too bother you.... :smiley_clap:

Ever see one in a tree? Ever see one in a tree try to attack an arrow? This guy lost the fight.

Uh yeah,I dug it up. Once you throw it out there it dose'nt go away. that's why you should choose your words carefully. I know you guys like to agree but there are people reading this forum who have opinions different from yours. Some of them might be right. Not beatin a dead groundhog an all. Just sayin.

Yeah I'm sure the tree huggers and PETA like to dig through our old threads.... What's nice about this site is we don't give a shit. Anyone that doesn't like the legal harvesting of animals is on the wrong site IMO.

Tree Hugger: Someone who preserves wild things for the next generation. Thank God for people who give a @#!#%.

Just remember if it wasn't for the sportsman there wouldn't be anything too preserve..... Who funds all the states programs???? Sure the hell isn't PETA or the tree huggers it's the guys shooting those ghogs and yotes.......

That's not what comes to mind when I think of a tree hugger. Regardless... I would really love to see you share some of your knowledge about the outdoors, besides posting on old groundhog threads and stirring the pot. What's the point? If you are older and wiser share some of that knowledge, don't just stop in and stir up shit.

It's not that we can't take a difference of opinion... You obviously haven't looked through this site much! Your more interested in stirring shit up about guys who enjoy getting out and taking out nuisance animals, legally none the less!

You are sadly mistaken if you think for one second that the guys here do not care for wildlife and environment!

Joe will speak for himself but you are missing the point!

Just cause the State says it's ok dosen't mean its ok. They are a govt. agency an all. With budgets an politics. And we all know what's up with that.

This was one of my favorite kills...sent it to the farmer's son who showed it to his dad...he was happy happy happy...and signs my deer permission slip every year.

Sounds like you are living in a bubble considering one area of the state. When I see 5-6 on one ditch bank or the same eating in a fieldd of beans destroying acres upon acres of beans, that's when I know it's OK. There is a reason why they are listed as a varmint.

Well, you got the wrong idea of a tree hugger Frank. I'd be glad to share some thoughts and experiences. What are you interested in? Not that i"m any smarter than the next guy. But I don't BS. If I say it, it's the truth as I know it.

Sounds like you fit the mold and should fill us in....

I would love to hear anything constructive from you besides anti ground hog BS.

Maybe so, but things dissapear at a progression. They dissapeared here a long time ago.

So, again what have you done too contribute too the conservation of anything in Ohio?

Key words in your last statement are "as you know it". Obviously some of our resident groundhog slayers know it to be a lot different than you do, therefore they are just as "right" as you are. Believe it or not, there are parts of this state overrun with groundhogs and yotes and the guys killing them are doing a service to those suffering from the aftermath of these varmints.

Showing up to stir the pot will get you nowhere but ran off around here. Just sayin...
