Jackalopes 2012 Spypoint Camera Pictures

I admit to being wrong about Tank. The white hair around the eyes, especially top and toward the front) appears to be identical in color and thickness in both pictures.

My original conclusion was based soley on the mass and the ridge vein running along the inside upper rim of his MB's.

Well.. Kind of a disappointing Cam check Friday.. It looks like the Tall 8 has a high shoulder wound from last season. Either an arrow or fighting. It doesn't look to be hurting his rack yet, but time will tell

That's not the wide 8. That buck is running with him most the time but obviously not all the time. Wide 8 has been hanging around on the west side of the rd...
 
Some real good bucks, even the funkyness of Gomer! Keep them coming and hopefully the Tall 8 will give you some better pics to see what that wound is all about.

He needs to be simply because I don't want him breeding. But i don't think I would ever use my only buck tag on him with the other shooters around. Maybe in a couple years if he blows up. But I'm not going to cry if the orange army smacks him.

Do you know anybody that wouldn't mind using their buck tag on a deer like gomer...a kid, a charity hunt??? Don't know what the deer population is like where you're getting these pics but just thought that he would likely breed before the orange army gets a chance.

Do you have any side pics of him to look at his rear legs to see if perhaps he has any injuries?? Seems like great genetics for your area to have such an oddball.

I didn't see any injuries on him. There was a big NT in there a couple years ago.
 
It's really hard to tell if ole Gomer is going to be a slammer or not until he gets some age on him though. He doesn't appear to be that old(2.5?) anyway and like you said earlier, that big NT could be his daddy. I'd just hope he gets by just in case he blows up next year.
