SUCCESS! Both front feet WOW! I was beginning to think these things wouldn’t work.

lol. Yes she got cuaght with both feet in the cookie jar lmao.

I thought you might like some pics of the trap in action. Held her there rather well too considering she was pulling as hard as she could to try and get away from me. I didn't know how well she would stick with both feet in there but she was stuck good lmao.

Little sucker scratched all the dye off of the DP but it worked :D.

Sweet!!!!:smiley_clap:
Something how they can get both feet caught.
I agree, if you have cats around they will more than likely get the tid bits.

Never done it yet but some guys will take bacon grease and mix it with some dirt at the set. They say just smear it around.

Good luck and go get them :pickle:

Nothing in the trap this morning but it has done nothing but rain (had to be almost 2" of rain) and kept the coon in the dens. It has stopped for a bit now so hope they come out tonight to get a bit to eat ;)

2 out of a den tree out back
1 in the DP outback

Trap is cleaned, baited, and reset once again. I figure this little fella was just a wonderer but we are keeping the door open for them all. No discrimination going on here lol.

Redcloud not to sturr a pot here but from what I read this isn't your property rignt? You don't have an ADC license right? Coons aren't in season right? I think the answer is yes to all the previous and you may be doing what's right for the owner and putting yourself in line for a nice fine.. just some food for thought buddy..(at least don't post pics of what could be used against you last I heard it was about $100 per coon. That'll put the ODNR cash register at about $1200). I looked real close at the live trap and didn't see a name tag ..they'll hit you for that also.:D

very good point vette, but here is the loop hole , i trap nuisence animals for a guy , the landowner can claim the traps as thier own and adam is just a steward for the land owner, it works for any nuisence animal , we talked to our g w about it cause they guy i trap for works alot and doesnt have time to set the traps and check em every 24 hours , the traps i use , were baught by me but "loaned " to the land owner

The traps are the landowners own live traps. I didn't buy nor do I own any of those traps. I simply keep an eye on them and clear the trash. The husband works well over 80hrs a week and so does his wife (both have their own businesses). The wife is a groomer/dog kennel/boarding as well as a substitute teacher and the husband runs his own commercial bakery. They simply don't have the time to keep up with checking on the traps everyday.
