This evening was good. Think we all seen the same 8pt, different one from this morning. Spikes and does w 8pts running after the does. Both boys seen a bear also. Total seen for me was 13.
Wife made it to the camp and of course it wasn’t clean enough so she put her touch on things and brought more shit.... like we didn’t have enough room before that. Anyway looking forward to rutting in the camp and hopefully get her in the stand for a hunt or two.

27 degrees w feel like temp at 22. Heavy frost/light freeze. Wind nw at 4. Clear skies. We should see some movement this morning. [emoji95] [emoji95] [emoji95]

No deer yet, when the sun melts the frost we should start seeing them.

So I seen 3 bucks and 11 doe this morning. No shooters for me but the wife is in the stand this afternoon. Done warmed up some and just looked at 6 cams pics. Only one shooter, but my deer are either locked down or I don’t have anything.

We hunted and only seen two doe. Dj said he had a decent 8 but didn’t shoot. Wife had a good time. Tomorrow is another day.

27 degrees w feel like 20 degrees. Today is another day. Checked cams and have bucks all over, mostly younger bucks chasing and looking. Hunter is going to the new ladder stand we put up during September. Been getting lots of pics there and ha the annual big rubs hit again. When I pulled the card there was a shooter just before dark and breaking day w lots of does passing. Dj is in his stand, which in my opinion is the best stand on the property most of the time.
Well the heater just went out lol, time to change the bottle. Did I mention it’s cold outside?

30 degrees w feel like 26, no wind to speak of. We back in the stands. But Hunter is in the bow stand with gun and bow. He had a nice buck that he decided not to shoot but would w a bow... so he’s double duty again as he carried both yesterday evening.
We seeing more deer than ever in the 12 years I’ve owned this place. Lots of young bucks making there rounds as the rut is here. I have no clue what phase we in but I suspect the big boys are busy. Anyway it’s a beautiful day to be in the outdoors. Stay safe and good luck.
