Rushed out after work. Saw 3 does and a pretty good 8 pushing them on the powerline as I walked in. Sitting on a field edge on the ground because I didn’t want to push anything out getting to my stand. Haven’t ever killed a mature buck with my compound from the ground. Hoping for some scrape activity. I have two fresh ones at 30 yards 
The nut didn’t fall too far from the tree…..

Should’ve hunted this evening instead of the morning. Deer are out like crazy tonight.

The story gets better..... Around 530 I start getting text messages from the landowner saying if I seen the Amish guy back there to let him know his parents called and said he wasnt supposed to go hunting and to go to his aunt and uncle's house immediately.... Fugg it I'm done here for good , rediculous..

I saw eight does. Plus four in the neighbors yard eating from her cornpile in her yard.
Skunked again for thr 5th time in a row. Fugg this heat.
Saw deer. None in bow range. None the buck I was hoping to lay my eyes on.
One basket rack and a single doe. Other than the temps, it was a beautiful evening.
Finally saw two bucks at very last light. Pretty fun hunt. Almost squeaked a coyote in too.

Nothing to speak of for us tonight. Hitting it again in the am. Likely gonna drink too much tonight for the 3rd night in a row and not get in there in time

Sat all day again….saw four does at last light..a couple of minutes later and I wouldn’t have been able to tell if they were does or not. Bitches!

Saw 4 does in the distance and grunted in a spike. I’ve seen plenty of deer in October but as far as observing anything rutty….. non-existent. There are lots of scrapes and rubs though.

@Tiny- that’s always the problem at deer camp- good luck everyone. Just got to camp for the rest of the week. Weather sucks but i gotta go when i can. Youngest daughter hoops season starting so it might be alot of one bay trips soon.

Yes, hunting in Morgan, staying on the West side of Cambridge. 50 min drive to where we are hunting
