Got a dandy Mahi on the Tupperware today. The Emerald Coast doesn't disappoint - got a solid 6# gray triggerfish as well.

I was privileged to spend a long weekend in Vermont in a booth next to him and his dad back in the day. A guy can learn a thing or two from him. Now they hunt different then we do down here, except in the bigger woods when the snow flies.

Just now seeing this thread. I love fishing. Its a different kind of love then hunting for me. Nothing like sitting on the edge of the earth catching an apex predator from the beach, waves crashing around you under the milkyway. I went solo this year, drove out on the beach around midnight maybe. Nobody around in sight. Quite an erie yet peaceful feeling. Yet to find a replacement for this.

What kind of shark is that? I’m guessing sand or brown shark…
