It's 4.25 hours into my hunt and the hens and deer have moved off. Periodically the hens pop out of a finger and feed abit then mosey back in the finger. They're about 120 yards out. It's a blue bird sunny day but it's getting alittle breezy now. My deke turns occasionally so that's good. Just hope a longbeard shows up soon. Prolly hunt till noon but taking the wait and see approach after that.
Two more hens came from different direction cutting and clucking pretty good. The other 3 came over to see what all the fuss was about. Not a swinging dick around! WTH!

Lol Scott! I just think the toms are batched back up and the hens are flocked together, at least it appears that way based on my observations this past week.
Well I just made it home. Hunted hard till 12:45 this pm and realized I need to rest some before work. Prolly drag my ass back out there in the morning and see if them danged toms are around. I have all of them on trail camera pics so I do have some history with them. I'm growing rather fond of em! Lmao

I will trade you in a heartbeat Scott. Right now I don't even have the option to think about turkey hunting. Go get after them bubba. Some of us cannot physically fit it into the day. I just jumped on TOO for a moment to unwind my head. I feel like I have put an 8hr day in the last 3hrs. Kill a turkey brother!
Didn't go hunting today but got all my yard work done! I'll be hunting hard from here on out till the end of season. I'll post my progress in the morning. Goodluck y'all!

I got out this morning, nothing was to be seen or heard. Wife called about 1 so I headed out only to find all them fuggers standing next to my truck! Only other thing that was odd all of a sudden I look up and there was about 5 buzzards hovering me. Guess they thought I was dead. Just got back from trying to find some for the morning, not a one. Oh well I will give it my last chance tomorrow.

Nothing from the roost, but had one answer around 6am. He cut the distance in half, but I think I heard a hen yelp and gve went quiet. Not sure how much sitting and waiting I want to do. This is my last day.
I'm kicking ass in the "calling in gay hens" department! Lol
So far I had some gobbling and hen chatter coming from across the creek behind me at about 7ish. The hen must have taken that bird to the next county cuz his last gobble was very faint. I've got a big assed hen about 70 yards just sitting there like a decoy. She's been pretty much motionless for the past 1/2 hour.
