I have either zero flexibility or major flexibility in my schedule. Had nothing scheduled until 2pm today. Phone vibrated on stand and my 2pm changed their mind but didn't tell me. Now I need to go give a locksmith access to a retail plaza since he can't follow the directions to his 2pm appointment. Freaking dude can wait for all I care.

4 deer is all I saw. Small buck scent checking at first light and Momma with 2 fawns later. Actually saw them several hundred yards off, then saw them again at 70yds.

It was frigid. Tough to move without the snow/ice popping and creaking on the stand. Slid into the Warm Bag and it made a world of difference. Probably the best $100 I have bought in cold weather gear. Have only worn it a handful of times but it has saved just as many hunts with my son as he has worn it too. Well, more like he curled up in it like a dog on the recliner. lmao

Hope you all have successful hunts today!

I fugging hate working 3:30-2am 5 days a week then 1-9pm on saturday. Every time I say I'm going to hunt the morning I can't stay up after work. I guess I'm going to have to try and get 3 hours of sleep after work then go out but I can't go right to sleep after work. Any suggestions on something to take that would knock me out for a few hours? I can't go this many days in a row without hunting.

Stood up to eat my lunch and saw rack coming through the CRP. First thought was "shooter" and I was fully engaged. He stopped at 50 yards and I glassed him again. What I thought was a mid-140s 10, was a mid-130s 9. Probably a 3 year old. Unclipped my release, hung up the bow, grabbed my sammich and Capei-Sun, and watched him stroll past at 27 yards. Second 130ish deer passed this week. Need to see their daddy or grandpa! Saw 4 deer for the first split. Back in around 2:30.

Took great video of him hitting a sign post rub below me at 10 steps. Just missed videoing him trip over the downed fence which is covered in fresh leaves. lmao

At least I know I won't get skunked!

Had a wide 7 come cruising thru. Woulda been my biggest bow buck but he got the pass. Far from my biggest gun buck.
