Just excited for everyone that is out....Cotty's son's story must have got me going this morning and I've been excited for them and everyone out all day...plus a boring work day afforded me opportunities to keep up on my favorite thread on TOO!!!
I'm rooting for you all and hoping to get some time in the woods myself yet this year.

Got to property. Left sticks at home. Went home. Returned to property. Walked to stand. Settled in. Long windy walk. Start to change socks. Boot was blown off stand. Climbed down. Fetched boot. Settled back in. Look over shoulder to property and wood lot south of me. some douche canoe (thanks Dustin) is on south edge of woods walking west with a crossbow. Must not be any deer in there or he would have blown them out. I am sticking it out but have low hopes. His scent is blowing right at me. Friggin moron. Cross the property line buddy. I would like to come unglued today. Probably same guy running trap line without permission.

Climbed in about 40 minutes ago. Checked my cam, my buck showed up last night at 5:52 pm. Thats cutting it too damn close.
Settled in with Kody about 3:20. Haven't hunted this spot since late October. Hopefully we see some action. Suns in our eyes, wind in face.
Had one come in that I woulda put an arrow thru but couldn't get a clear lane on him from all the limbs. He wasn't rutting or anything just walking flipping his tail. He did however come off the ridge walk directly away from me and I lost sight then he came straight back. I'm wondering if he has a scrape there that he was checking.
I was up in the woods behind the house. It took some time trying to find a spot due to the wind. At 4:45 a doe came out into upper food plot at my neighbors. I was about 80 yards north of her in the woods. I think she ended up going over to the Lot since I got a mms pic. At last light, a deer was snorting down the hill to my right. The wind was blowning from the south, but maybe I got busted.
