Big goose egg so far for the deer count. Man this has been a tough day. Found out how to "safely" nap in my lonewolf. Ended up lowering my tree strap and kneeing on the platform hugging the seat. Was out for a good 30 minutes. I sure needed it lol

Best way to nap in a lone wolf is to buy a summit

I saw a hot doe go in the thicket S of me when I busted everyone up this morning. Not the best spot I have, but I know he was here earlier...

Nothing yet. Took a good long stroll before setting up. Plan was to find some sign , preferably a good scrape and set up on it. Problem is, there isn't any. The scrapes and rubsthat were starting to appear a couple weeks ago are pretty much untouched.ended up setting in the same old spot. Its as good as any other at this point.

Sitting in my tumbleweed blind in a grass field downwind of a bedding area. There is a slight ditch to my left about 20 yards that the deer use to get to a wheat field to my north. I had 3 small 8s chase does past me last night. Maybe tonight the big boys will come out to play.

My buddy up in Buffalo Co WI just texted me. He said they haven't seen a rut up there this year....then he texted he just saw ANOTHER 150 walk by. :) Hang with it guys, it will break loose soon. You just need an almost hot doe to make the mistake of trying to run.

Yeah but I'm out of vacation days. I'm not retired like some on here :)

Jeeze, I didn't need my thermals, kinda warm out. I got smoked & ghillied up & decided to hit the lower food plot where I walked around yesterday. The guys moved their feeder around there, throwing more corn around & also put up a stand overlooking the upper plot, right where my cams had been. I got settled in a patch of bamboo @ 430 & didn't hear or see anything, well other than my phone going off at 530 after receiving a couple bucks entering the Lot.
