That is a good rub! Hope you two have some luck! I may go down to film my buddy Sunday evening. He has a heck of a track record shooting bucks between Thanksgiving and gun season. If that doesn't work out, he's coming up to one of my stands for Monday morning - hoping to get a crack at Popcorn! So much to look forward to!

Went to bed last night sick as can be. Woke up this evening. Yes. This evening. Dark when I went to bed. Dark when I got up. Was really hoping to fill this antlerless tag before gun season. Not looking good. Just hope I feel well enough to verify the scope on my muzzle loader tomorrow. Good luck to all y'all. Good looking rub Ric/Ron. Best of luck. Seeing easterly winds a good portion of this week. I am not liking this.

My plan as well. Going to explore some public later this morning, looking for a spot to sit on monday.

Giving up on the private properties I hunt. They might as well be public anyway. The deer have all moved to surrounding properties that dont allow hunting.

I am thinking ours have also moved to the woods to the north that doesn't allow hunting either. Going to pull cards from all cams this afternoon to see.

I went this morning. I saw a coyote and 4 deer. A small buck was harassing a yearling who was having none of it. No shots available.

I almost went out this am. I guess I was looking for an excuse to get back in bed. After the game TOOday, I'll get out.

Shouldn't have left the house the way I was feeling yesterday. Felt a bit better today. Got some additional no trespassing signs hung on my property. Set up my range. Realized I didn't bring my powder. Maybe I will verify scope at halftime. Hahaha

Put some corn out this morning before the OSU game to try and entice a hungry buck for Kody this coming gun week. Saw a dandy on his feet in the woods from the road not far from where we hunt. It was around 10:30 and he was a definite shooter.

Hoping to get out this evening. No sure yet depending on what happens around the house.

Just saw a report in our local paper that somebody nearby fell out of a tree yesterday. That person had to be flown to Columbus is all I know.

Just came in. I had 4 deer come out of the woods & walk by at 20 yards at last light. 2 does , a basket rack six & then a bb followed out. I was really hoping that 4th deer was gonna be something bigger with the 6 pointer already out. The 6 got all bristled up & was head butting the bb for a bit before following the 3 across & down into the woods. I was smoked & wearing my ghillie, they never looked my way.

Another deerless sit for me tonight as well. A lot of rukus tonight between guns shooting, people yelling and dogs barking. Some kid yelled for his mom 17 times, I counted, what the heck.
