this is the first time in 12 years(since I started hunting) that I missed opening day of gun season....
Just passed 3 does that nearly ran me over. Watched them bed back down across the holler from me. I love this spot in gun season!

This is crazy shots all over and I've seen 2 does one of which got shot on the next property when it crossed the fence. I seen no less then 10 a sit here during bow season. And I had a stand get stolen I'm not a happy camper right now.
Just getting out of bed. I have to work this afternoon. No desire to go out . I'm off the next two though. Good luck to all & be safe !

Took Andrew out until 8:30. The only thing we seen was a nice buck standing where we park. Very few shots heard. Took him to school and I'm back out. Bumped two doe walking in but I didn't shoot.
I'm staring at an Amish dude sitting on the hill right next to my property line. I'm sure he killed all the deer on his land so he wants to take out the deer around mine. I gotta say something to the neighbor. I know its not my land and I have no control over it but those bastards kill anything they see. They always have a ton of land and 15 brothers and sisters with land and he's on the neighbors 7 acres. All I have is 7 wooded acres, might as well forget about coming back out here.
