Game face on...It's lead slinging time. Heading out to blast the crap out of public deerz. Good luck to everybody else that's out today and be safe out there.

Game face must have scared this crap out of the deer. Didn't see anything but squirrels today. Walked around Delaware State Park covering some good ground and seen a lot of good deer sign but no deer to go with that sign. Ended the day back on my home grounds and seen nothing but squirrels running around.

looks like the TOO nation was busy today! Congrats Mike and Charles, well earned. I think I heard something about Phil and Schu as well. good work.

I was with Adam on the deerless day, sunup to sundown, if it wasn't for this site I don't think I would believe that whitetails exist. We agreed that this summer is going to be devoted to finding better ground to hunt, got a few places in mind. We also talked about getting a little more familiar with the public ground in the area. One thing is for sure, i wont be taking the gun opener off again, unless I find a job that pays vacation.

Congrats to all. A great day for 'TOO nation'. No killing from the couch(not exactly, but you get the idea) for me today. I'll be perched in a tree or sitting in some thick shit tommorow afternoon

I didn't go out today beause I had to work. When I arrived in the office, one of the gals there was starting to tell me about the husband of her husbands secretary going out hunting in Coshocton county. I figured she was going to tell me about the big buck he shot & I kinda ( playfully ) rolled my eyes & stepped back. As I stepped back to listen, she procceeded to tell me that he was found dead. We didn't know the details, but I'm just now seeing the news online from our local paper. He was found dead IN his treestand from an accidental gunshot. 62 years old is the only thing I know about this. So sad.

Err had a ton of deer moving around, I missed a doe and the group got 3 total. I passed on a couple of young 8s that came passed.

My dad and brother were down at evwa and said it got hammered hard yesterday. More so than a usual opener. My brother got ayote and a doe off our property.

That is horrible news Kevin. Prayers going out for the family.

I haven't seen or heard a thing. Sitting in a little hut overlooking a crp, clover field. The property to my north hasn't allowed hunting for as long as I have been hunting here. Hoping to catch something moving off of that property.

Congrats LB! Heard two shots all morning nothing relatively close though.

I am pretty sure I know where I will be come spring.

Well fugg it. Not a damn thing happening. Not shots, nobody else seen around. It's hard TOO be in the right frame of mind when nothing has been happening. I'm back at the house now. At least I have something from Cabelas arriving today to make me happy.
