Made it out this mornin saw 3 does and a bunch of turkey. Only heard 1 shot and I sat till 10:15, thats crazy for around here.

I quit counting at 50 shots... About 50/50 on single shots versus 3 shot volleys..... Nothing remotely close though....
I was up at 3:45 with deer camp gut rot, so I'm pooped. lmao
Headed in for lunch and a nap. Might drive some at my uncles. May not even hunt the afternoon. Too much pressure here around the farm, I'd rather stay off and hope for the best!

Kody just missed a nice high racked one. About 75 yards through some thick crap and woods. We did a good search for blood and nothing.

Adam and I were at delaware till about 12:30. Didn't see anything. Lots of sign though. Heard maybe 15 - 20 shots all morning. Sitting at or local private public spor now. Figured we couldn't see any less than we had all morning.

I took my buddy to a stand this morning. He's had a rough year and was on a jerky collecting mission. He killed a 4 point at 930. I was happy to be in the tree filming when he did. Opening day with him is always a great time!
