Good deal buddy. Seen all kinds of deer feeding in the fields yesterday on my way home from work. Seen a few out picking the fields over this evening. Should be good for the morning hunt if anybody gets out.

I hope you fill it TOO hoytmania! I am planning on being in the woods also in the morning....hope its a good sit after all the trespassing issues i keep having...saw some deer when i was driving by the other day so i hope they are still in there! We shall see in the morning!
Good luck to you guys still getting after it. Cranking up the shooting of the crossbow with Garrett, my son. He is in between indoor soccer seasons and says he wants to hunt. I hate to push him if he doesn't truly have the drive for it, so it is up to him. I will offer, but it is going to be tough to refrain from "pushing" him.

Been a beautiful morning so far. A little on the windier side but I'll survive. Seen four doe and a cat. Turkeys are sounding off like mad.

Saw 2 bucks around 8 biggest being a 105 8 point this farm has way to many hens on it have seen 30 turkeys not one beard on any of them.

I got skunked this morning...not surprised really...just disappointed....on a brighter note, the geese sure were moving all over this morning.

Wife got me a feeder for Christmas. Not really my thing but she was trying. She even texted a picture to one of my hunting buddies to ask if it was a good deal. lmao
To make the most of it, I put it together and my son and I hung it today. He picked the location where he wants to do most of his hunting. I had a goal of harvesting a deer on my own land this year as well as getting my son his first deer. Hopefully we can cross two goals off the list. As time moves on I want to attempt to "ween" my son off the feeder, but for a first deer. . . .I don't care what it takes so long as it is legal.
Not a deer hunt, but I am hitting the woods in the morning looking for some bushy tails. Had a buddy call me up today and ask if I wanted to hit it. Glad I texted him last week and put a bug in his ear. Looking forward to hunting with a buddy for squirrels in the morning.

Buddys son got his first deer saturday evening!!! He is ten and this is his second year deer hunting. At first i thought it was a buck that shed its rack as this is one of the biggest does i have ever seen. I was sitting in my truck watching and seen the whole thing and should have video taped it now that i think about it.

On a property tonight that hasn't been hunted since early November there's a couple bucks with bad genetics if they come out tonight I'll fill my tag won't score much but they will still look good on the wall.
